How does the two-tier scholarship work?

StudySoup is dedicated to helping students find success in the classroom. Our scholarship program was designed to help cover the expenses of a continued education for those looking to better their futures and the futures of their communities.

We also wanted to find another way to honor students who exemplify StudySoup's core values, including leadership and a willingness to help others. Therefore, we've set up scholarships sponsored by our company as a two-tiered system.

Students can apply for any StudySoup scholarship they're eligible for at https://studysoup.com/scholarships. By completing the personal information section and completely answering all application questions, they are eligible for the base scholarship prize.

In some instances, upon submitting their application, students will be offered the opportunity to double their scholarship prize amount by uploading notes, study guides, and flashcards for their peers. This opportunity will be clearly marked after the scholarship application is completed All uploaded documents must be original work completed by the submitting student. Any plagiarized or unoriginal work will be removed, with that student no longer eligible for the scholarship. If chosen as the scholarship winner, students who have uploaded at least fifteen documents will receive double the amount of the scholarship prize.

If an applicant does not submit 15+ original documents when prompted, they will not be eligible for the two-tier scholarship and only will have the option to win the single tier scholarship if selected.
